to improve my Games
Cruel is a classic pile based solitaire card game. You start out with 12 piles of 4 cards, and each of the foundations start off with an ace in it. Building down the piles is tough because you have to build them down by suit. Also, like in most pile based solitaire card games, once you have removed all the cards from a pile, it is gone forever... you can't restart a pile. So these rules would make the game about impossible if it weren't for the ability to shift the cards. You can use the shift button as many times as you like, and if you want to win a game of Cruel, you really need to use it strategically. Shifting picks up all the cards in order and shifts them over until they are back into piles of 4 cards. You want to try and shift the cards you need into the top position of a pile. You also have to be careful because you'll lose the piles on the bottom of the game screen first. The first pile for the purpose of shifting in on the top left, then the second is to the right of that, then the third to the right of the second. Then the fourth pile is on the far left of the second row, and so on all the way to the last pile in the bottom right of the game screen.
