Your reply stating that you can alternate suit and not just color is incorrect. Check the wikipedia on this. (I just did.) If you disagree then make this an option so people can choose.

Reply from Rick: I checked Hoyle. I hate to say it, but Wikipedia has this one wrong. I may add that as an alternative version at some point, but that's one of the differences between Klondike & Yukon.

    Thanks for the suggestion,

I would like for the clock to start on the first move so the cards could be considered for the first move. I have gotten through a few games in less that 2 minutes..that is when the cards fell right.

Hi, I live in Holland and have not long been using your site. I really like it. Maybe an "option" list? and I know most people wont agree but maybe more sound effects, even a bit of back ground music. thanks best wishes

In actual yukon, you cannot put a spade on a club nor a heart on a diamond -it just FEELS like cheating!

Reply from Rick: Actually you can... in Yukon you are allowed to alternate suits, not just color. In Klondike and Freecell you have to alternate color.

    Hope that helps,

Dear rick, Please put in an 'option key' function to stop the automatic addition of eligible cards into the suit pile on the right. I often have to 'undo' moves in order to allow opening up the hidden cards on the top oi the columns.

Reply from Rick: There is a version without auto complete that is available if you wish to play without it.

    Hope that helps,

  • Grace DuPree - 2014-04-10 17:15:34

    Add an undo function.

Reply from Rick: Check the bottom right of the screen after you make a move you can undo. :-)

    Hope that helps,

Autoplay stopped and all cards revealed...would not take 3 of hearts on to 2 of hearts.

Reply from Rick: Someone else is having that problem but I'm not. What browser are you using? What version of the flash player?

    Thanks for letting me know,

http://yukonsolitaire.com This is the URL I get taken to. Everything on the page loads except the game itself.

Reply from Rick: Make sure you have the flash player installed. If you are using an iPad, they do not support the flash player, so you can not play on an iPad.

    Hope that helps,

It would be nice if there was a NO MORE MOVES sign

  • nancy - 2014-01-03 13:13:28

there was no Ace in this game! How can I win?

Reply from Rick: Which Ace was missing? They are all there when I play.

    Thanks for letting me know,

After playing your Yukon Solitaire for years, I now find the game will not open. I get a 404 error message and a message saying the game is not "on this server". I have not changed amy of my settings. Would you care to guess why things are no longer as they should be? Thanks

Reply from Rick: Can you post the URL it takes you to? It seems to be up, and obviously you are able to bring up the home page.

    Thanks for letting me know,

Sometimes on Yukon solitaire the auto completion seems to freeze and I can't find a way to move the crads to the complketed piles. Is this a glitch?

Reply from Rick: I haven't noticed that one. Have you tried to click 'Undo'?

    Hope that helps,

  • Arsine - 2013-11-25 19:44:31

There seems to be a glitch in the programming: normally, an acceptable move is to place the opposite suit color card that is one lower in value. Yet I've found that you can place the SAME color card, as long as it is a different suit... e.g. you can place a FOUR OF CLUBS on top of a FIVE OF SPADES... or a TEN OF HEARTS on top of a JACK OF DIAMONDS. This seems to be an error...

Reply from Rick: It's not an error, that's actually the way Yukon is played (official rules). You can alternate suit, not just color (like in Klondike).

    It's a feature... not a bug... seriously :-)

    Thanks for playing,

  • Automatic Moves - 2013-07-27 14:21:38

I find it very annoying to play this game because of the automatic moves that it makes. I would much rather not have that option. I assume other people like it so I think the best way to handle it is to me it a selectable option so it can be turned off if someone chooses. Also - the black cards need to be more black so there is more contrast between the two colors.

Reply from Rick: Try playing with Auto Complete Off

    Hope that helps, :-)

Auto Complete Off
